What time is it?

Hours to go and we will embark on our next trip.  Where you ask?  I will give you 10 guesses and the first 10 don't count.

I am minutes away from checking into our flight online (as you know who) is gone to work and  to pick up our rental car.

We have many visits with friends planned, shows, great accommodations and wonderful meals.  My bones can't wait for the hot, dry heat!  Lily white is the color of my skin after this long and arduous winter.

~Flight checked in~

This time around as I recover, the trip will be much more
enjoyable for me.  The haze from the drugs won't be an issue and I will look forward to the pools and gyms to keep
on the right track.

So this time tomorrow think of us on the plane about to take off.  Pictures and tales to follow!

Here are a few photos from our winter vacation to Florida, Las Vegas and Laughlin.  Most of the places we went to were not new to us, so there are fewer photographs.  Please enjoy! ~

Well here is another wonderful Vegas vacation.  I have
really lagged in keeping up with the Blog details.

Our Southwest flight was excellent as usual.  No issues with the wheelchair.  There is a LOT of abuse on this airline with
"disabled" passengers.  So much so that it is getting out of hand.  I completely understand that some people may need
the assistance to get from check in to the gate.  When I see
the same people bolt after we land, I consider that abuse and unfair to other passengers.

Anyhow...our stays have included - Lake George Econolodge, La Quinta in Albany, Main Street Station, Aquarius, Gold Coast and soon Sam's Town.

We met Gary for lunch at Ping Pang Pong and shared food stories along with restaurant referrals and general catch up chat.  Gary is a phenomenal source for Vegas as he is an
MGM employee and gate keeper for KA.

One of the best comedy shows I have ever seen was Gallagher
at the Tropicana.  He was WAY more cerebral than I imagined.  He is bordering on brilliant.  We both had good
belly laughs from his show along with having our photo
taken with him prior to the performance.

Burkes in Laughlin scored us some shoe deals (see above pic).
Due to this Cushing Syndrome, I gave myself a break and got a pair of size 10 sneakers.  The extra space is heavenly.  The
sandals are for Cor and Mom.  All of the pairs totalled less
than six bucks.

Gaming isn't in our favor that is for sure.  At this point going
home even would be a treat.  Anything can happen.  Yesterday
we did really well at Silverton playing 100 play VP followed
by an incredible supper at El Cortez (comped).

In an hour or so we are off to Four Kegs (Diners, Drive-ins & Dives) with Norm and Andrea.  James and I had breakfast with Carol here at the Java restaurant.

Time to hit the gym before heading out.
